A classic natural soap recipe was only part of the challenge. The shape had to function just as well as the ingredients.

I was using separate shampoos, body soaps, and shaving creams when I finally realized: this is stupid. Why can't there be one product for all of this?

So I started using bar soap for everything — body, hair, face, even shaving. The problem was that most mass-produced bars left my skin and hair feeling stripped, irritated, or dry.

That sent me down the road of discovery. I started learning how soap was once made: simple, raw, functional, and honest.
